Ok ladies, I'm sure we've all been through this...you definitely know you are alum when you are... Not knowing what to do with yourself on a Tuesday night. I mean, it's been years! Shopping and still wanting to buy stickers for that potential little sister! They're all sooo cute! Still looking at every Giraffe thing you see and wanting it! Hey, I'll forever collect Giraffes! Not admitting you are alum, and showing up to all of the events. Being kind of thankful you are alum when you don't owe dues. After 4 years of knowing everyone's lineage, you finally don't know who Big/Littles are. Not even knowing who the new members are. Then wondering if you even know who the active members are. Asking yourself what you are going to do with all of your time, now that you are not active. Thinking to yourself, "how did I ever find the time to do all of that in the first place?" |

Alright, so you get the point...we're alum, we need to admit it, embrace it, and set an example for others to follow. Our chapter is young, yes in deed, and that makes us more special than ever! Being involved in the growth of our chapter is important, and even if we can't be there all of the time, we should try to make it some of the time. Let's not be strangers, because we're family!
